I picked up another HikVision DS 2CD2042WD-1 POE security camera inexpensively off Ebay last November, after determining it wasn't hacked Chinese version....

On arrival, on an Isolated Network, updated firmware to remove the infamous back door these cameras have, and configured it as a "Driveway Camera"...

This week we're recognizing, Ralphy1!

Ralphy1 has been a member of POI Factory for eleven and a half years!

He maintains several POI files for our community, but the most popular is North American Breweries

We appreciate the time and effort he puts into maintaining this ever growing file!

In danger of losing your windmill?

Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

The DS65 Owner Manual describes the "Last Parking Spot" App, but that App isn't on the GPS.

Well our 2015 Subaru was totaled by an uninsured motorist who had her driver's license revoked. Fortunately we had uninsured motorist insurance. Now we have a new 2019 Subaru with in-dash navigation so we don't have to use our Nuvi 650.

Can anyone say what is meant by "general retainer' status on POI factory?

Last week he brought the Garmin Express V6.12.0 update to our attention. This is something many members of our community found helpful and I'll be happy to add Coonhunter to the Red Barn club next week!

Does anyone have a feel for how the common OEM's (Garmin, TomTom, etc) of GPS units may be handling this?
