Hi...first-time poster. This summer I will be taking a vacation in Great Britain and am thinking of taking my Nuvi 360 with me. Does anyone know where I can purchase the SD card of maps for Great Britain? Or more to the point, where can I purchase it cheaply? Also, will the car charger that works on US cars also work on rentals in England? Thanks.

Does anyone else in Chicago experience problems with the Nuvi 350 when they are downtown? Every time I'm in downtown Chicago, it re-calculates over and over again. Is this due to all the massive buildings, or is it just mine? If nobody else experiences this, and it's just mine, what can I do to fix it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I know this question has been asked before and i have read the forums on it.I am trying this out for the first time, i may be slow or doing something wrong but please bear with me.What i am trying to do is add the street address and telephone numbers to the list of poi's.I am compiling a list of computer stores in Winnipeg and so far this is what i have learned.I searched for locations on google

I recently purchased a nuvi 680 from Costco to replace my aging Garmin iQue M5.

So far, here are my issues with the 680:

1. lack of quick volume control - to increase/decrease the volume, you have to navigate through the on-screen menus (or, as I've discovered, click the power button to bring up the quick volume screen)

Has anyone had a problem with your Garmin GPS not being recognized by your computer when plugged into the USB port? I've had the GPS attached to my computer for 45 minutes and it was not recognized until just now. I didn't do anything, just let it sit, and it took 45 minutes to get recognized.

Anyone use their Garmin on their bicycle?

I recently moved to CA and have gone on a couple of rides where I needed directions. I set my 660 to bicycle mode, set the route and put it in my pocket and listen to the directions. "ride 500 feet and turn" on such and such. Worked like a charm.

i have downloaded a couple icons from here and renamed them according to my custom poi file. when i look at them on my nuvi 360. all i see is a square of jumbled colors as opposed to the icon pic it should be, any idea why?

i have a nuvi 360 with the fm traffic adapter, i have come upon several traffic delays that havent shown up on my screen (i understand about lag time and all) but on the other hand i wonder if the traffic people even know about the delay. this leads me to wonder if there is a way of contacting them to tell them of the delay i am sitting in.

I have recently been inching my way towards developing some TourGuide files, and my recent learning step was specifying custom icons and custom proximity alert sounds in Mapsource and saving the gpx.

Hi, On the c530 the only alert sound that comes up is just a beeping sound. I know that the c530 cannot play mp3 files, but is this beep alert sound a wav file? If so can this wav file be overwritten to play another sound or possibily a short sentence in wav. format?

i made a couple poi files now for my 360 (and uploaded them to poi factory). i noticed that when i use poi loader that certain poi files have a default proximity alert distance allready entered. is there any place i can go to change this distance to what i want it to be?
