Be careful. I'm not sure what the advertised update is that you referenced from Best Buy. It may be only a "Mapsource" DVD.
The DVD map update for 2008 should read:
"Map Update 2008"
"City Navigator North America NT"
This DVD has the latest Garmin maps. "City Navigator North America 2008". It will update the maps on your Garmin Nuvi. It also includes the Mapsource program which will allow you the interface between your computer and your nuvi.

It Is Map Update
Best Buy and Circuit City both offering the Map updates cheap. Probably dumping 2008 before the 2009 update in a couple months.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
