contact traffic to update?

i have a nuvi 360 with the fm traffic adapter, i have come upon several traffic delays that havent shown up on my screen (i understand about lag time and all) but on the other hand i wonder if the traffic people even know about the delay. this leads me to wonder if there is a way of contacting them to tell them of the delay i am sitting in. so here is my ?, is there a number i can call to contact the traffic service in the ny metro area?
