the best fitting bag for the nuvi that i found is the Nintendo DS game traveler.
all i had to do , is cut out the center storage flap.

I'm loading up a bunch of mp3s and POIs for my trip down to Maryland, and was just wondering if there were any files, such as all the additional voices, that I can remove from my Nuvi 680 without causing it to fail?

Is there a plug in card for my Garmin 200w that contains a complete and uptodate list of all Parks/Camps.

How can i save trip log to route?
I found 4 tracks log when i retrieves them by mapsource but cant find them in Nuvi pages!

I have been using the POI Loader to successfully load .CSV formatted custom POIs along with .BMPs and .WAV files on our 260 with no problems.

Now for the really stupid question -- Can you place .GPX files in the same folder and load them along with .CSV files into the single custom POI.GPI file?

Been getting use to my Nuvi 680 and was wondering what those with more experience with GPS systems think about the 6xx, 7xx and 8xx series.

I got the 680 at Costco, for our trip down to Baltimore, MD from Toronto, ON and I've been trying to create a route on it that would somewhat match the one that we take when using the MS Streets & Trips off the laptop.

This seems odd..

This week while on vacation I took a ride to work(downtown chicago) and the GTM20 did a great job..but..

On the way to chicago, it got a lil backed up on 290. No alert. But this was while in the INBOUND lane. In the outbound lane there was an overturned and burnt out tanker truck. The delay was minimal, Just rubberneckers. So no biggy. I figured thats 'how it worked'.

I would love to turn on my garmin put in an address and not have to put city and state every time i have to put in new adress....

O.K. I guess I played around and mess it up without backing up. So here is my problem, and maybe someone here can figure a way to fix it.

When I run speech doctor. I get an error message that component tabctl32.ocx is missing etc. Can anyone help?

is there a way to get rid of the new map update available popup in the nuvis? it there a file i can delete. whats the gmapprom.sum file? is the the popup warning?

My Nuvi 350 has been discontinued, therefore, I guess you could call it obsolete. I assume Garmin will not have any more updates for it? If I keep updating the maps each year how long do you think I will be able to use it before it becomes too old? I only bought it 2 months ago and they already discontinued it. Thanks

Is there a way to quickly retrieve the GPS coordinates for a Favorite or custom POI in the Nuvi 650?

Just curious. I am new to the Nuvi200W. Does it tell you the altitude you are at?

Ok I DL'd the POI Loader from Garmin, DL'd some CVS POI files from here, it showed to load to the 660, but I can not find any. Where are they? tia

There are two routing features that I'd love to see – sadly, my nüvi 750 has neither.

Closed Road / Road Blocks

I've run into a few places where there is technically a road, but it's a gated access or otherwise inaccessible. It would be nice to mark a point or a section of road "unroutable".

Preferred Routes / Shortcuts

I already have an Nuvi 680, will the MSN receiver work wiht the new 765T. The site says it is MSN ready but does not come with the receiver like the 785T.

Also once subcribed, is the receiver interchangable i.e. the serial number is assocated with the receiver, not the GPS unit.
