Just to be sure, would this case fit the 255W?

Thanks!

nuvi case

My nuvi 350 came with a fake leather slip case that fits well and cushions the unit. This seems as good as any others on the market.

Best Bag for Nuvi 750

I got a cheapo that works well! It's a Roots Sport Bag - about $12.00 CDN from London Drugs camera section. It comes with a strap but also has a loop with velcro that you can attach to your belt (which I did) so you can easily take it with you when you leave the car. I think any camera section will have a similar bag. You just have to match the size for you unit.

Several same/better ideas and cheaper...

A great inexpensive carrying case option, take your GPS with you
I recently purchased a Nuvi 880 after a long search of almost 12 months, reading many, many reviews for most if not all of the GPS systems out there. No need to go into the weaknesses in the other systems that caused me to select the Nuvi 880. But once I did have it in my grubby paws I was determined to take good care of it.
That meant I needed a case to protect it. As I stood examining the price ranges for the Garmin cases at Best Buy a sales person inquired if he could assist me. I told him what I was looking for and was deciding if I would get the $20.00 or $50.00 case.
I was asked if it ‘HAD’ to be a Garmin case. I said no, and he took me over to where the Nintendo DS Lite Carrying Case was displayed. For $10.99 I got a great black case with hard front and back panels covered with foam inside to protect the screen and nylon on the outside, wrist strap, a small carabineer and a front zipper pouch which is great for holding the Micro SD adapter. No advertizing GARMIN tag on the outside to let everyone know what’s inside. Just a plain black case. Where I go this little gem goes. Be it at work, home or the many other points in between.

If you decide to get one there will be a small alteration required. Inside the case is a clear rubber/plastic sleeve meant to hold the Nintendo DS in place. Using a sharp knife or other sharp tool cut out the sleeve as close to the edge as possible. Your Garmin or other GPS will fit in perfectly.

Good choice.........

I got this case too, But I left the plastic insert intact to hold the nuvi in place. It is the perfect size and price!

Re: seaworthy - Good choice.........

I was going to leave the plastic in but I worried about wearing off the finish on my new 880.

Cutting out the plastic allows me to just plop it in the case and zip close. Open then tip out, quick 'n easy.

I really like it.

what i do is, i just plop

what i do is, i just plop the entire gps and the suction cup into my cooler next to the drivers seat, that way nobody will suspect what it is.

Case Logic Portable HardDrive Bag

I've been using a Case Logic brand bag for my nuvi 750. It is meant to hold a portable hard drive but works perfectly for the 750. It is made of a stretchable padded fabric that has plenty of room for the 750 and has a separate compartment for a cable. It is small enough to slip into your pocket (or purse).

The cost was between $5 - $10.

gps case (cheap)

i also use a case logic for my nuvi 650
5 bucks on sale at frys
weathered it a little so as not to look to new!
its a good fit!
bring it (gps) with when you shop!

Another cheap solution

I have a nuvi 260, and for a case picked up an American Tourister digital camera sleeve at Walmart for $2, fits very nice.

Since my wife got me the Garmin friction dash mount I wanted to put it all in one case. I picked up a small rectangular kids soft sided lunch box at Target on clearance after the back-to-school sales for ~$5.

It holds the nuvi, the cable, and the mount, and doesn't look like anything a thief would want if they peaked in the car window and we happened to leave it in the car.

case

The garmin brand cases sell on amazon for discouted prices.

After A LOT of searching

I found a hard case (sort of like a square sunglasses case) made for the DS Lite by Intec. It is a hard plastic case with a hinged lid and lined with rubber/foam rubber. The fit is almost perfect, I hot melt glued a small piece of rubber weather strip to one side and it now, well perfect. Also $10. I can take pics if anyone cares. Just let me know & good luck in your searches.

Oh thats easy, I just let my wife hold it!
