I take it you put the sounds and BMPs into the same folder that has your CSV files and then ran POI Loader again.

If the POI loader won't find the Garmin, then check to see if you didn't unload it from the computer by using the little green arrows in the task bar. If this is the case, unplug the cable from the computer and replug it in. This will cause the computer to reload the USB port and let you access the Garmin again.

It is always best to use the software to tell you it is safe to disconnect a USB device because just unplugging it can cause Microsoft to think there is something wrong with the port and lock it out. It's a bit of a pain, but then it's Microsoft and they know best.

I tried safe removal, didn't

I tried safe removal, didn't help. I'm not sure if this did it, but I went back through the uploads and instead of selectin an alert of 5000' I set it for 1000', and the DL flew through. Probably coincidental, but it works now. I haven't been out traveling yet to see if the BMP and new POIs function. Thanks sv

You can run a simulated route and save the gas.

Your profile says you have a Navigon only, but your original post says a 660.
