Dear Customer,

Does anyone know what happened to the old Index of perry software site for older versions of Garmin files? I tried to find it just now (not that I needed it but occasionally I click my browser favorites just to make sure they still work) and it's not there.

The last time I opened Garmin Express, I received this message:

I have never seen this before. What does it mean?

Hi, Just purchased a Garmin 65. Tired to upload my POIs but can't get my computer to recongize my Garmin. Using Mac Catalina. Garmin Tech support says I can't have more than one Garmin app open at a time. When I open "POI Uploader" Express opens also. I quite Express but my Garmin will still not show up on my computer. It looks correct on the garmin. Is this an Apple problem or a Garmin problem?

The MapInstall program used to allow me to plug my garmin unit in to start the updates. Once the updates started I could disconnect the unit. The maps would download and the program would prompt me to plug the Garmin unit back in to continue the install.

There is a thread, somewhere. Questions were asked about how far ahead Smartlink and Drive reported traffic. Last night, coming back from Florida, Drive, with my DS55 reported construction 91 miles ahead, on my route. It also reported I was on the fastest route, suggesting it checked for a reroute.

Has anyone faced touch issue in DriveSmart GPS? Yesterday I noticed the GPS unit is behaving oddly when I was almost in the destination. Seems its moving to diff places and like someone is navigating the device. I restarted the device then it was okay but after a few minutes it's behaving like same. I reset the device and updated the software version today, haven't tested yet.

Garmin's network today is down due to a ransomware attack is the traffic service still working?

Tried to go into Garmin Express a moment ago and it says there is a problem connecting to their servers. So I googled to see if there is any news about it. Apparently they were hit with a ransomware attack today. Anyone else see anything about it? Looks like they have been hit hard.

A few of us here bought refurbished Driveluxe 51 GPSr's recently thanks to a tip and link from Alandb. I'm curious if anyone who bought a 51 at any time, either new or refurb, has experienced these issues.

1 - The orange banner across the top of the screen which displays warning messages like "Curve Ahead 500' " freezes and won't update.

2 - The split screen junction view also freezes.

From this month's 8th many new speed camera and red light camera installed in Toronto. Is that updated in the recent red light and speed camera?

Can anyone advise?

I've used my trusty 255w for years and have been riding vintage bikes for years as well. I recently got a nuvi 2596LMT and a RAM mount to go with my bike.

I'm considering going back to a Garmin device with the new RV 890. I haven't owned a Garmin since before the nuvi devices.

I have a question about how Garmin traffic works, specifically as it relates to road closures. I'd plan to use the Smartlink traffic.
