Garmin talk

Where can I buy a Garmin GPS 3790LMT that is not too expsansive. Any suggestion.

Anyone know where I can buy a fuse F3AH 250V (that is the # that is on the paper attach to the cord) for the power cable that fits into the cig holder. I have a Garmin 855. Seems like the battery is not charging when I use it in my vehicle.

I just attempted to send a route from each Map source to my GPS. Mapquest allowed me to send the route, but I can't find it on my GPS.

Google will only let me use business names and only as a destination. This does appear in my favorites.

Am I missing something?

Did anyone else notice that the track highlight color is no longer yellow when you select a track? My previous version did highlight the selected track in yellow so it was easily visible amongst all the other tracks. The latest version has the selected track highlight color the same as the other track colors which makes it very hard to see the track.

I just bought a used Nuvi 1350 with GMT25 lifetime traffic car charger. My wife currently has a 265wt (same GMT25 traffic adapter). My question is: Is there any difference between these units? They seem almost exactly the same to me?

I've just created (combined really) a single POI file separately for each of the following:

1. Menards, Lowe's, Home Depot.
2. Aldi, Dominick's, Jewel, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods.
3. Blain's Farm & Fleet, Mill's Fleet Farm.

Building supply and Farm are no-brainers, They are neither densely packed nor mutually exclusive.

Apparently Garmin is really upping the ante regarding their annual map offerings, I don't know if this applies to the incremental updates for you lifetime subscribers: (The following was copied from Garmin's website)

We are making our map data even better! The North America 2011 map update is scheduled for release in late April. Check back to order a map update for your product

I found some details on the way Garmin names map files. This may help folks who are trying to fit new, larger map sets on older NUVIs or when creating map sets with a variety of maps.

Hello. I'm in the need of a Forklift Vehicle for my Garmin GPS (would be awesome if there was a Toyota forklift one but will settle with any forklift)....I would also like to have one of a Ford Festiva preferably a white ford festiva.....but atleast the forklift will make me happy right now Thanks

How often does Garmin add to or update things like junction view?I live in Knoxville, TN, have a 1690 and everything works great except junction view is apparently not avaiable here. Does anyone know if that feature will be added eventually?

So I saw today that the Nuvi 7XX has a new firmware release.

I made the mistake of downloading it on to my Nuvi 760.

Now the unit just shuts-off about 10 seconds after turning on the unit. When plugged into the power cradle the unit remains powered but hangs-up and accepts no inputs after about 10 seconds.

I reloaded the software again via Web Updater. Still, same thing.

I had downloaded speed/red light cameras from Trapster. I went and downloaded sounds in mp3 format from POI factory. I followed the directions from POI loader nameing the mp3 files the same as the POI files with the exception of the file extensions, ie: mp3 versus gpi. My unit picks up on the cameras poi's but wont play the mp3 sounds. What did I do wrong?
