Copied favorites, got duplicates

When using Mapsource for favorites.With gps connected to computer.Click on transfer of top of page for mapsource.Then click receive from device.Once the favorites come up in mapsource connect the other unit to computer.Then click tranfer, then send to device.

What you have to do now is manually delete the ones from the unit.Touch tools,my data,delete favorites and put check marks in the ones you want to remove.

Note.Even though you deleted the current.gpx file from the gps it will just reload back again once you re-boot.That is why you have duplicates.If you had manually deleted the existing ones first and use the method in your post you would have been good to go.

Now the file is temp.gpx, do I just rename it to current.gpx?

It you removed all the favorites it should work with either current or temp.I always name mine temp.gpx.Once I boot up I go back and delete the temp.gpx.It is no longer needed once you boot up and it loads back into current.gpx.Anytime you use the send from Google or Mapsource feature it will create a another gpx file beside the current.gpx.Once you boot up they load into the current.gpx so it is good to clean the ones out other then the current.gpx once in a while.

The pictures didn't associate with the favorites, but that's ok, I can edit them.
