Editing POI files.

I just downloaded Costco POI's and I found some mistakes in it. I did some checking from Costco's website and found several gas stastions not listed in the POI. How can I edit my csv POI file to correct the mistakes? I use openoffice to view the POI's.
csv files are simple text files
If the file is a csv file you can open it in any text editor, or you should be able to open it in the open office spread sheet and save it back as a csv file. If it is not a csv file then it will still be a text file, but will be in xml format and a bit trickier to edit. But look in it in an editor and see what you think, the xml may intimidate you less than it intimidates me.
You might find it better to just pass along the changed to the maintainer and let him/her update the original.

Since you have Open Office, you could use Calc (as long as you save the changes as a CSV file
)
