How do you find out what changes are made when you install a software update to your device (1490 to be specific)?

Is there a way to download data from a 855, such as: Total Time/Moving Time/Stopped; Overall Avg/Moving Avg?

Shouldn't it be in October?

In May of this year I was going to Upstate New York with my sister from Long Island she was using her new nuvi Gps and I also turn my old garmin C550.

Anyone run into a similar problem? When I touch the camera icon or hit the camera button on my 295W the screen locks up. Everything else works fine. I can power down and all is normal again until I try the camera. So far I tried the camera diagnostics (locks up) and a master reset. Have removed the battery several times. Contacted Garmin via email and expect a response next week.

I have just purchased a Nuvi 1340 Satnav and have tried to update the maps. Unfortunately, I got an error message before the process finished and it has also wiped out the maps previously loaded.

Can anyone help me please? I am new to SatNavs and am not particularly computer literate.

When I launch Mapsource it tells me the City Navigator North America NT 2008 map I used with my Nuvi 260 has expired and that new maps are available for purchase, I now have a 2460LMT with the NT 2011 map, when I try to receive from device [2460LMT] [map] to Mapsource it tells me there are no maps in the unit to download.

Has the small POI icon size been resolved for the 37xx series? If so, can someone point me to the link? Tried to do a search, but nothing showed up...

Here is an odd one. It's not a real big deal, I'm just curious if anybody has experienced anything similar.

I have noticed on my 1490LMT that after last map update 2012.20. It has lost lots of junction views now. I used to get junction view on Hwy 427 South bound at the 409 Split etc. But not any more. And even junction view for 401 West from 427 South. They all disappeared. Is there any way to put them back again?

Anyone try to use Mapsource with the new Nuvi 3490LMT yet? I bought a new mapsource CD and the new 3490LMT. I installed Mapsource, and downloaded the latest update/version from garmin.com.

Mapsource will not see my 3490. It wants to look at my Forerunner 405CX instead???

Any suggestions?

I looked at this file for fun because my wife likes the show (and good restaurants!). I was very pleased to see it contains detailed address information and especially a good description with the recommended meal, the opening hours and the web site.

All that I would need if I wanted to go there. Good job!

I cannot find where to turn on Proximity Alerts on the 3490LMT. The User Manual say it's under settings but it does not appear on the device. I sent a request to Garmin support and the response was to read the manual. Sigh.

Anyone else having this problem?

So I am looking to take a map of Eastern Europe and India with me, and want to put them on an SD card. What do the maps need to be named, and can they be put on a single SD Card? Thanks.

EDIT: I have a Nuvi 200

I'm considering getting a Garmin Eco-route for my 3760T. From one of the reviews I read on Amazon, on some cars, it may drain the battery if you don't drive for several days. Has anyone experience this problem?

Additionally, any other problems that other users have noticed?

I am test driving my 3790 LMT very nice with the 3d stuff, but the maps seem to have issues telling me to turn Right when a place is clearly on the left side of the road or to turn Left when a place is clearly on the right side of the road.

Any interest in creating and maintaining a list of kosher restaurants and fast food locations in the U.S.
