Problem:
Two favorites created at one time.

Process:
1. Input an address
2. Tap "Show Map"
3. Tap "Save"
4. Tap in a name.
5. Tap "Done"
6. Tap "Okay"
7. Tap "Go"

Result:
1. A favorite with address and the name given to it.

I followed the instructions on how to add the rest stops and walmart POIs, and the software told me it was successful. Now, how do I see those POIs on the garmin itself? Do I search for "walmart" or "rest stop" on the garmin POIs?

I wanted to see if the .bmp icons were uploaded and working as well. Thx.

I purchased a Nuvi 265wt a few weeks ago, the speaker is kinda weak and trembles a lot when announcing the voice commands. At times the commands are barely understandable, is there a way to improve'em ?

I am sure this must have been a thread somwhare but I can't locate it.

This is on a Nuvi 765T.

I installed some POI's from here using POI loader. These had icon files associated with them ("same_name".BMP file).

For example:

I have been using a Garmin Street Pilot C340, and just bought a Nuvi255. Is there a way I Ncan transfer my favories?

I try many times to load red-light cameras alert sound for POI files into my Nuvi 360 but for some reason its not working. I don't know if I did it correctly. I have follow the instruction on giving on these website but still no luck. Can anyone please show me step by step to load red-light cameras sound into my Nuvi 360.

how do you get rid of the starting license agreement screen on the nuvis ?? the whole do not enter data while moving B.S. ? my 60csx never had one. is there any way to patch the nuvi and get rid of it ?

So I thought I'd followed the directions here on downloading POI's (saved them to a folder on my hard drive, connected my gps, uploaded manually, etc. etc.). Anyway, I get the "Congratulations, you've downloaded ... POI", but when I check my favorites a couple of them have coordinates instead of the address and then I see alot of them that say "SPEED LIMIT _X MPH _x."

DOES ANY BODY KNOWS IF OR WHERE I CAN FIND A "TOYOTA YARIS CUSTOM VEHICLE GREEN"???

I have read it on other forum that traffic alerts on MSN Direct start working in GTA as of December 6, 2008.
I have TMC FM receiver and service is crap in Toronto area. Very few times I get traffic flow info on 401. It is avaialble only on weekdays where as MSN Direct is 24/7. I will definitely buy MSN Direct receiver. Has anyone tried MSN Direct in last few days in GTA?

After seeing a nuvi 550 that is roughly feature equivalent to a Zumo 450, is Garmin replacing m/c units with nuvi units?

The map shows highways ONLY.

When I try to look up the map information, the "map info" button under "settings > map" is grayed out.

In a mass-storage mode, I see the map file, along with unlock code, all intact. It just isn't reading the map.

Is there any reason that when there is a snow or rain storm or even fog that a Garmin with A high sensitivity receiver wont get sattelite reception

Nuvi 200w is on sale at Target for 119.00. I wasnt sure if anyone would be intrested

So I found a usb cable that goes to a MP3 player that also fits my 255w. However, when I plug it in to my computer it constantly switches between storage and charge mode. For some reason it won't stay connected as a storage device long enough for me to upload poi's or other data. Should I just buy a new usb cable? I know they're really cheap.
