Double and TRIPLE check for double file extension (eg Starbucks.MP3.MP3) which will cause them not to work properly.
Be sure the file browser on your computer is not set to HIDE file extensions. Also, be sure that when you are renaming the files that you don't type the file extension.

I don't understand what is the file extension? Can you please tell me what is that. Let said if the POI file for Red-light Cameras is, Redlight-Cameras.csv, Do I rename the alert sound to Redlight-Cameras.mp3. Do I need to create a folder and put those two files into a folder I just create.
Thanks you so much for your help.
The extension is a suffix to
The extension is a suffix to the name of a computer file.Csv and mp3 are extensions. You do need to create a folder and put the files in it.Make sure to name the files the same thing except for the extensions. You can make one folder and call it my pois and put all the files in it or you can develop sub-folders from the main folder to get your files some organization. If you want to use sub-folders you can go to this post http://www.poi-factory.com/node/15804 and you will see a step by step I typed out.If you plan to save a lot of custom pois as a suggestion I would start out with the sub-folders.

The file extension is the three letters after the dot (.) in the file name. For example, in the file named Redlight-camera.MP3, then file extension is MP3.
When you rename the files, you want to make sure that you are naming the part BEFORE the file extension identical to the .CSV file.
However, the caveat is to be sure that you don't type the MP3 part because this might result in a double file extension as shown above.
The way to TRIPLE check for this is to be sure that your file browser on your computer is NOT set to HIDE file extensions.
And if you read through the instructions for setting Custom POI audio alerts, you will see that it says to name the files the same (except for the file extension) and then place the CSV and the MP3 in the same folder on you computer when you load them with POI Loader.
