Is it possible to have Speed-Cameras.csv separated into 2 files, one for surface streets and one for freeways? There are a few red-light/speed camera combos that are within 1/4 of the freeway and it always alerts me to them when I am driving down the freeway. Magellan does not do "on route" alerts. If it is within the distance in any direction it alerts.

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but often when you look at a traffic signal (especially overhead), you can see one or more tube-type cameras mounted somewhere around the signal. These are not red light cameras but merely cameras set up to monitor traffic conditions. Many times they are not viewed on a regular basis and never for violations, etc.

Palm Beach County started the ball rolling a few months ago when the announced they would install red light cameras on county roads.

It seems to be snowballing within the county as since then Lake Worth, Delray Beach and now Royal Palm Beach have announced they would also install red light cameras.

Please I would like some help on how to make my own mp3 sounds.

Regarding the speed camera POI, I was wondering how it works. Forgive me if this topic has already been covered, but I do have a few questions.

I spent some time this week cleaning up the file. I had a lot of cities that have discontinued or never started their programs in the file.

Please let me know if you live in an area that once had cameras so that I can remove them from the file. You can contact me through my email on my profile page.

Since I am not able to visit all these locations I sometimes need to have you guys give me extra info on some intersections.

I would like to set up extra warnings in locations where a tunnel might interfere with the alert.

Do we currently have any locations that are inside or shortly after a tunnel exit?

Just heard on the news a couple of days ago that Baton Rouge has issued over 12,000 redlight camera violations and that 62% of those who were sited have refused to pay up.. So the plan is to turn over the names of those who did not pay to a collection agency.

Just a note to say that I down loaded the Red Light & Speed Cameras POI's.
Going on a 4 to 5 month in RV from Washington State to SW USA. Looking (?) forward to see how they work. The local Red Light POI downloaded a couple of weeks ago seems to work fine.

Is there a way to disable the audio alert for a single red light camera? There is a single camera which I pass with some regularity and know very well that it is there, so I'd rather that one intersection remain quiet when I approach it, but still want my custom audio alert when I approach any other.
