Updates to Toronto’s Automated Speed Enforcement camera locations
Hi there, brand new to the forum, and would like to find out before subscribing and downloading, whether the latest red light and speed cameras POI file contains updates made to Toronto’s automated speed cams, 50 newest camera locations came in use as of May 2021.
I didn’t see that in the updates comments. TIA

Tampa Red Light Cameras
Does anyone know if Tampa is still using red light cameras. I heard they took some or all of them down. My garmin keeps warning me but I don't see any signs or cameras anymore.

Altavista, VA
just a heads up. Under a new law passed by the VA Legislature, Altavista Police Chief is pushing for Speed Cameras on two school zones, rather than stepping up patrol enforcement.
Of course, he's claiming non revenue issues, but crowing about no cost to the town, but the Town gets half of the $100 fine.

Speed Camera won't work in BMW Navigator VI
I have a BMW Navigator VI. It recently started to not properly load and activate speed camera poi's. Everything has been updated with Garmin express. It used to work. Through trial and error, I have discovered that it loads the data but it will not alarm at the defined spot. All other poi data loads and works fine but if the 'name' field contains the '@' symbol (i.e.

Phildelphia installs 32 speed cameras on Roosevelt Blvd.
The installation of nearly three dozen speed cameras will begin in the coming days along Philadelphia's Roosevelt Boulevard, one of the city and state's most dangerous roadways, city and state officials said Monday.
A total of 32 cameras are being installed at eight intersections along the Boulevard, which is officially numbered U.S. 1. They are:

Pennsylvania Now Using Work Zone Speed Cameras
Although the Pennsylvania Work Zone Camera law was passed in 2018, not much has been done until now. Cameras will be put into service on a trial basis this week in two locations. Eventually, 17 camers will be put in service statewide:

So it looks to me like all the red light cameras haven't done any good in the last 10 yrs but "AAA recommends that governments increase use of red light cameras".
Maybe the camera folks are giving AAA a cut?

NYC has new speed cameras in School Zones
NYC's Speed Camera Enforcement Expands
On July 11, 2019, NYC's expanded speed camera law goes into effect, immediately doubling the reach and impact of the program. Speed cameras will be active Monday through Friday, from 6AM to 10PM, year round. DOT is now authorized to operate speed cameras in 750 school speed zones.

RED LIght & Speed Camera Settings on Garmin
Hi I am just wondering how I should setup the Files I paid for (1 Year Membership)on POI Factory for the Redlight & Speed Cameras. I believe I have the Redlight camera setting for half a mile or 2640 Ft and the Speed Cameras for 25 MPH.
Maybe the Half a mile for the redlight cameras are to much but I wanted to allow enough stopping time.
I have the Garmin 3597 GPS.
