Toronto New Redlight And Speed Camera (July 08, 2020)

I checked several new speed cameras in my Toronto neighborhood against the toronto.ca website and POI Factory information was correct.

wondered why at least where I live, a camera covers all 4 parts of an intersection. In Toronto, usually just 1. Is that for cost, i.e. try to get good behaviour for 1/4 the cost? I would think regulars know which of the 4 directions the cams look. Kind of like in MD and DC, everyone speeds until they approach the actual cam, they slow down, then speed up. Me, I'm at the limit (don't even tempt the +11 mph leeway) the entire time thus annoying the locals.

If you want really bad alerts, subscribe to Cyclops. Terrible. NJ did away with cams and 4 years later they still have them in their database! How do they get away with that!?

Last week's Red Light camera files had Ontario updates. I have downloaded it but have not uploaded to my devices yet. I think this file should have included new additions.

I just tried their trial and getting alert where redlight camera was removed more than 6 months!

I yet to get the active status then will download and try that...

There was some 12 hours difference between the first post and the next post on the same subject. Being a new person, the OP may have thought there would be a response through a second posting. Not a defense for the double posting but it may not necessarily mean a lack of etiquette either.

Sorry I'm very much new in this group. Actually I did not have any idea regarding this type of group. I was searching for alert then I found this one and I am glad that I found this.
