The Department for Homeland Security announced today that Real ID requirement will be delayed for one year. The new date is October 1, 2021.

I got my Real ID drivers license taken care of last year
I saw that it has been extended. I got my Real ID drivers license taken care of last year. I'm good until it expires in 2027.
Politicians and Diapers must be changed often for the exact same reason...
No real ID
My license are up this year in November so I decided to wait to get my real ID till then. I have a passport and a passport card so I am covered. Now I am glad I waited. I have received several letters from the TDPS to get my real Id for a while now.

Last year
In March 2019 Pennsylvania started to collect the info for Real ID. I went to the DMV and had the info entered into the record but was not paying extra $$ to get it then, opting to wait for my next renewal at no extra cost. That will be this December.
I don't really need it though, I have a Passport book & card, plus other IDs that required a federal background check that qualify as read ID.
