Took The Whole Family

to Branson, MO for 4 days. My wallet is so much lighter, but all of us had fun. Silver Dollar City has not changed much in 10 years. My trusty Garmin did not fail us once.

went down the block

had to pick up a cap for a pipe so i could disconnect a leaking sprinkler system,

A quick run to...

Lowe's to buy a a SharkBite quick connect to fix our refrigerator. The 5/16 pex (plastic) water line that runs up the back of fridge to the water dispenser and ice maker had a pin hole leak. Would only spray water when getting a cup of water or the ice maker was filling. Thankfully we found it before it got to be a BIG leak. Was afraid we would need a special part but did not...just got lucky!

Put new SS water line in too. Last time repairman was here he pushed fridge back and crimped the old line. It was an accident looking to happen too! What else do you do when it's 110 outside grin

Target

Getting some essentials and a gift for a graduate.

Pulling on a windmill vane...

After many years of good service, my Nuvi 765T bit the dust - irreparable cracked screen, though for no obvious cause like an impact of some kind - just noticed erratic inputs and then found the crack on closer inspection. So found a great deal on a new Garmin DriveSmart 55. Working with it now, customizing and seeing if I can use my POI factory collection of POI files with it. Plan to use it later this month on a short road trip for a conference about an hour and a half north. So far I like it!
