Be thankful that you don't. I've been slowly reducing my travel rate from 40 weeks/yr (1995-2002) to 25 weeks/yr and I'm hoping to get it down to a handful next few years.

There's nothing glamorous about a business travel. All I have to show is I've got an elite status with several hotels (Hilton, Marriot & Starwood), AVIS and a couple of airlines (lifetime member with American for flying million miles). Sure, you can make great vacation trips for virually free but when you travel so much who wants to travel on your vacation? (Ok, so I took my whole family and a friend to Hawaii once) And dealing with the timezone changes is realy hard on your body.

Yeah, I hear ya! I have

Yeah, I hear ya! I have been travelling for about 3 years now for this company. Luckily, it isn't back to back. Business travel does suck, but I still love my points!!!!!!!!! and free drinks. I need to build up more airline points though. Like you said, my travel is my vacation. So more I travel for the job, the more I can do for vacation.
