Summer is here so this week we’d like to recognize, TXRVer and camping rivopom for their RV parks and campground POI files.
I know they both work hard to keep these files verified and up-to-date year round and we appreciate their hard work!
Thanks TXRVer and camping rivopom!

Maryland New Laws for Traffic Cameras, Phasing out Bounty Cameras
With a new law that takes effect June 1 20014, Maryland is restricting school zone traffic cameras from areas where the zone speed limit is 20 mph or less. It is also phasing out "bounties" or revenue sharing of tickets with contractors, although this will not happen right away.

Keeping The Windmill Alive - Your Last Trip? – June 2014
In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.

What are folks doing this weekend?
I'm doing my now annual trip down to Douglassville, PA to a friend's place for the long weekend. (that's because they've had to suffer through my July 4th soirees for the past decade or so...
) I had been watching the Jones Beach Air Show prior because I so love the planes, but the crowd has grown too big for my pleasure...
Be safe out there

Chevron Gas Stations
Hi Guys,
Is there possibility to get the Chevron POI's off Tom Tom Device so we could use it on Garmnin? I know TomTom has Chevron POI, and I cannot find all locations via Chevron's web site so I could create our own POI file.
Any help would be appreciated.

CraigW has been a member of POI Factory for over 6 years. He’s frequently found in the forums greeting new people and helping troubleshoot just about everything.

Thanks
Yesterday i finally tried the osm map from the first post in "Free routable maps for garmin"
Now my almost ten year old never updated nuvi 300 is back in buisness! ![]()
I could easily pick out a section of the world and 12 hours later the map was ready for me. The size has got to be under 2gb for my nuvi and the one i got was at 1,6 gb.

The long way on POI Files
I opened my eyes a little wider just now when I was looking for a POI file and had an epiphany.
But first, let me admit what I have been doing in the past.
