We have just purchased a nüvi 350 and find it very useful locally! I've been impressed so far over the last two weeks. Only once did it 'burp'. We were on the interstate and beside a service rode. I swerved to miss debrise in the road and the nuvi thought I was on the service road and tried to redirect the route. So, really more my fault that its....

I've spent a lot of time entering locations into my 660's "favorites" file. How can I set up another 660 so that its "favorites" file displays the same information, without doing it manually? Will simply copying the contents of the POI folder from the first, then pasting into the POI folder of the second do the trick?

Just purchased this unit - any thoughts from other owners? Tricks or tips? Thanks all.

Changes made from version 3.40 to 3.50:

* Removed + when dialing POI's in the United States
* Updated the US Daylight Saving Time for 2007

WHOO WHO on Garmin for removing the + dial prefix!

My c-340 has recently started announcing that there is a better route available, but it does not give me any other options. I have City Nav N. America NT v8. Any ideas? Thanx all.

I performed a quick experiment with my gps today, and that was copying roughly 250mbs of mp3s to it via usb. Bottom line, the end result was about a 15+ minute transfer Time. My plain jane USB thumb drive can have the same block of files in about 2 minutes.

Does anybody know if you can get some kind of gadget for the C550 so the routing instructions come out the vehicle speaker?

Why does Garmins POI download page not list the c530 in the pull down menu...sorry for the stupid questions...newbe

I was wondering if I am allowed to sell my older version of City Navigator (DVD) on say Ebay or some place like that?

Is there a location where you can download free US Road Maps that will work on a Garmin? I'm assuming that Maps that work with the Garmin are proprietary so you have to come back to them. What really urks me is that you can't make changes to locations that are inaccurate. It's like paying 75.00 for a flawed product.

I finally figured it out how to show your custom POIs on map. Search your custom POIs by Spell Name option and then save each of them as Favorites. That is the only way to show them on the map on C330 model.

C330 model can only show your Favorites on map.

I have many locations stored in my favorites folder, and I would like to delete them all, in one fell swoop, instead of one at a time. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how? Thankyou.

FYI only... recently I purchased the SD data card for City Navigator NT, Europe v9 via the internet (from a reseller not an auction).

The external packaging looked ok, however the SD card didnt have any Garmen markings. I sent an e-mail to Garmen to confirm that it was legitimate.

have anyody had any problems with there unit getting satelite reception at any time in wooded areas or around big buildings

Does anyone get a low battery warning on their Garmin? My 360 just cuts off cold; no count down to shut off (like going to battery) or anything.

I was driving and I look down and saw a black screen. I powered back up and it immediately shut off again. I plugged in the cig adapter and restarted an all was well. I don't leave my unit plugged in to mitigate battery charge memory.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A NUVI 660 AND HAVE A 2620 I DO NOT USE. IS THERE ANY MARKET AVAILABLE FOR USED GPS SYSTEMS?

I have just purchased a new Kenwood G510 from the US.
I live in Pert West Australia .
I bought this unit because it is half the price in the US.
I am told buy Garmin Aust, that the unit will work here in Aust. But I have to buy City Nav Australia on dic and put it in the SD slot .
My quetion is , will it function ok .
Because the unit is pre programed with Us maps etc.
