I have on my PC a folder with subfolders as in........

I have a garmin nuvi 755 T and was wondering is there a POI file for speed traps thru out the united states so when u r traveling u will know when a cop or stae trooper has a speed camera out and is watching ,if so can u post here and how to put it on my nuvi .I have the poi loader all ready do i need any thing else.Been doing a lot of research on here and notices a lot of POI's for i cons where d

The Nuvi 660 doesn't have built in waypoint functions.
Is there software that somehow helps fix this deficiency?

Or can I wipe out the Garmin software all together and put some sort of open source or freeware software on it.

Hello all--

Does anyone know how I would go about updating or changing the voice files on my kna-g510? Do I have to wait for software updates, or can I load them via a SD card? Also, for my proximity alerts for my custom POI's-have anyone with this unit had any luck changing the alert to a voice alert instead of the "bing!" sound? Thanks for any insight.

Is there a 3rd party software that I could use to edit my Favorites on my Nuvi 260W?

I would like to add some additional information to some of them, that I cannot do via the GPS itself.

For example, I have the EuroMap NT installed (CN Europe NT 2010.20) on my SD card as a 2nd map, but the addresses do not show the full zip-codes (missing the 2 letters)...

My Garmin C580 will not turn on. I have plugged it in to my computer USB Cable, my car charger, and a different car charger. None of these work. I am out of warranty. Is there anything I can try?

how do i use both the preloaded north america nt city navigation map and topo map at same time such as over lapping so i don't have to go to settings each time and change them back and forth each time. please help me out. thanks.

Taking a trip there in a few months and wanted to add the maps and POIs of the area. Also, is there a good mapset for just italy or should I just get the whole Europe NT which included italy.

Are all GPS units the same?
As in, when I come close to a POI that I have an alert set for. Say at 1000FT the alert isn’t going off until I am on the road the POI is on and heading toward it.

I have one POI I drove up on a side road behind it and the alert didn’t go off even though I was like 50 FT from the POI

I have the Garmin 855

Can you convert a Track Log into a route to use in the future. Such as taking a trip and convert it into a route and save it in Favorite or other places so that it can be use again.

When using POI Loader and Browsing for the file on my Mac, when I try to select the file, it is greyed out. Any ideas?

My name is Rick from Chesterfield Cou8nty, Virginia. I purchased the Garmin nuvi 1450 because my brother in law has the Garmin 1350 which we used last sunday to go to fedex field in Maryland. I was real impressed because it carried us to our actual parking area from Virginia.

Good morning all a new nuvi owner i have a 755T and like it for i just tried it last nite,my ? IS I JUST DOWNLOADED 2 POI'S 1 FOR ALL THE WALMARTS and the other was for speed traps in vt,nh,ma how do i put those on my nuvi and how do they work once they r in there.Exspecially the speed trap one how does that work any help would be appreciated.

I have had GPS since early 2001 and have never seen so many new features on these units. I reluctantly purchased a Garmin 1690 due to it's ability to lay down a live traffic map. However, on major roads sometimes the unit does not start the traffic feature for 30 or 40 minutes.

I have a .vpm file of the Governator and Cartman. When I load them onto my Garmin, they display as American English. With these files loaded, three American Engish files are displayed and no matter which one of the three that I pick, the Governator voice is used. If I remove the Governator, then I get the Cartman voice.

With the Garmin Nüvifone G60 GPS Phone now available from Amazon for $249.99 without a service requirement, will that cause anybody here to reconsider the Garmin Nüvifone G60? I have often felt that the Garmin Nüvifone G60 GPS phone is over-priced, but then I have felt that way with many Garmin products during the first several months that they are available.

Is TTS Speech Doctor compatible with 64-bit Windows 7? When I try to run it I get an error that TABCTL32.OCX isn't registered. I assume it is a 32-bit file.

are they a way to get a body of water (small lake or pond)to show up on your map?
