possible to edit favorites with a tool?

Is there a 3rd party software that I could use to edit my Favorites on my Nuvi 260W?

I would like to add some additional information to some of them, that I cannot do via the GPS itself.

For example, I have the EuroMap NT installed (CN Europe NT 2010.20) on my SD card as a 2nd map, but the addresses do not show the full zip-codes (missing the 2 letters)...

shows: 12 somewhere st., somecity, someplace, 1234
should be: 12 somewhere st., somecity, someplace, 1234AB

Or am I stuck with this and can only accomplish this with custom POI's?

Happy New Year to all

Try EPE

Import, and then export your faves after editing.

Looked good, but...

Looked good at first, however, when exporting to the GPS again, 1/2 of the information was gone from the addresses. Like it cut off 1/2 the field where the complete address was stored in...
Luckily I had not too many favorites haha smile

So: Close, but no cigar sad

Thanks regardless, at least it brought me a little closer to finding a good solution (still looking and will post what I'll find out)

Have you tried Mapsource?

Have you tried Mapsource? You can send Favorites to Mapsource, edit them, and send back to gps.

Before you say that...

Before you give up on EPE, make sure that you look to see what's viewable on the unit when looking in Favorites to begin with before editing. As I recall (but can't find the link for the post just now) there is info attached to the POI that you will only see in EPE and when you set a Favorite as a destination, but don't see when viewing from Favorites in the unit.

..Hope that makes sense & sorry I don't have enough time right now to hunt for the thread.

It's about the Line- If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.

Ok, I'm officially dumb!

EPE worked perfect!

As I had not worked with the program yet, I have overlooked the (ahum:) double-click! to edit them....
(Yeah, ok... I admit, i'm all red of shame now)

Thanks for the help and all replies!

Just your nose
