Changes made from version 2.20 to 2.50:

* Fixed an issue that could cause a hourglass to display indefinitely during an address search.
* Fixed an issue that could cause a shutdown if viewing the Trip Planner page at the exact second that the trip is scheduled to begin.

I've got a 755 that won't charge in any of our vehicles. The fuse in the cigarette adapter is ok (I changed it anyway). I want to know if it is the charger OR a problem in the mount itself. Has anyone tested these with a multimeter to determine which one is bad?
My alternative is to just get a regular car charger that works through the mini usb port.

I recently upgraded my GPS from a Garming C530 to a Nuvi 1450. The 1450 supports serial destinations via the "route" function (I think), but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet.

I want to start at my HOME, go to POINT A then to POINT B, then back to my HOME. How do I do that?

I'm looking for a bicycle "Vehicle" for my NUVI. Does anyone know where I can get one. Garmin has one, but I'm not impressed.

traveling around CT this weekend and something interesting happened to my Nuvi 750. Not sure of the exact sequence of events, but may have had to do with plugging in the unit in response to a low battery warning.

Here's my first post and it's not pretty. I'm seeking others who've had this happen and let this serve as a warning to others.

I recently found my nuvi 760 dead. It tried to start up again but would shut down on 'loading maps' Then it never even started. I thought battery and replaced the battery but nothing.

OK, so I bought the one time update from Garmin and they sent the DVD. It was for 2011.10 but as we know, 2011.20 was released (the next day after I bought the DVD for 2011.10). When this DVD arrived, it connected to the internet and said there was a later version available than what was on the DVD and gave me the choice to install either the download or the DVD.

I have noticed an unusual bahvior on my 765T. When traveling when GPS guidance on, the unit will recalculate when traveling on a clover leaf freeway interchange.

The GPS plotted route indicates I should take the clover leaf, but in the middle of making the 360 degre turn, it will say "recalculating." Then it will re-plot the same route as before.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I'm new to the world of GPS. I understand I can search for a POI in my area, or where I'm going, but how would I use custom POIs to push the GPS to use and alternate route to a place I'm heading for? Is it easier than using the intersection option under Route, to get the GPS to use a specific road on your trip? How would one accomplish this? How do you create a custom POI?

I received my Garmin nuMaps Onetime DVD last week, but when I opened it up in the inside on the DVD holder is marked "Place Product Key here". Did Garmin forget something or have they somehow eliminated the need for that? There was no separate Product Key anywhere else inside the packaging.

I recently bought a Garmin 1350 with a 8GB SDHC card and have been playing around with POI files.

I have created individual POI.gpi files using POI Loader. Each poi.gpi file I keep in its own subdirectory (that way I don't have to bother with renaming each poi.gpi file). These subdirectories are eventually copied over to the 8GB card. The subdirectory layout is as follows:

I live in Miami. I was driving to the beach this morning. I got two RLC warning on the way there (heading north) but not a peep before the same intersections heading back south on Biscayne Blvd....strange....anyone got the answer? The cam only takes the pictures on one side? 3 lanes each directions....

Can someone tell me what the Chipset Type M Hotfix Data is?

Hi all -
Is there any way to replace and/or update a factory installed 2009 City Navigator Map with a "full version" 2011 Map that I have on a micro SD card?
There are only three files on the card:
-gmapsupp.gma; gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl.

I've had my 1690 for about a month now. It seems lately that when I have the 1690 connected to my Windows 7 PC and eject it (from safely remove hardware) that the GPS continues to display the connection screen instead of changing to the operational mode so I can work with it while it charges. I think I remember that is used to do this early on.

If I get the update from Best Buy, does it just add to the original map or does it replace the whole file?
I have a NUVI 350, If it adds to the file, will there be enough room on the unit itself or does it have to add to a SD card. I have a 2Gig card that I use for POIs.
