2. How to install and delete Voices ?

Anybody know how to Clear the trip log ( blue lines ) on a 2797? I know how to turn it off but i would like to clear it.

Is there anyway I can get a redlight cam alert with a Red banner at the top, I have a old 660 that does that ?

When I first purchased my 2797 gps I had automatic Factory Installed school zones alert. Have not used the 2797 for a while. I just started to use it again and I don't get any alerts. I think I may have deleted them. It there anyway I can get those back ?

I just installed School Zones Alert, The problem is the alert does not work on all the zones I have. Anybody help me with this ?

I have a lot of POI's saved in a folder, Can I install certain POIs or do I have to put the ones i want in a folder by themselves?

(New member) Curious if you guys have experienced exactly what the difference is in Garmin Updating Maps on a Device sold with "LM" Lifetime Maps as opposed Devices sold with a purchase designation of "Includes Map Updates".

I want to install a different alert sound for Redlight Cameras and I see that there is a mp3 or Wav file, can someone tell me what the difference is ?

Yesterday my 2598 won't connect to Windows or Garmin Express, hence can't update anything.
Tried rebooting and removing and reloading Garmin Express, no luck.
Tried 2 other PC's and a different cable.

Anyone else ever have that problem?

When doing a Voice Command to Find Place yesterday, we found the 770 chokes just at the end of asking what to search for. It shuts down (and restarts, if plugged in). Still doing this today.
On the way in from startup a screen pops up that I've never seen before, announcing that a Map Update was done. Over the air? I haven't done an Express update for a couple of months.

Has POI Loader support been discontinued? Under Support/POI Loader it says " Software Information Currently Unavailable
This information is either coming soon, not applicable, or no longer supported." I can find it under www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-12. But no reference comes up under search.

Can someone tell me how to delete custom POIs from Garmin 2797LM

Haven't installed it yet, but when I updated to latest GE (W7-64) I noticed there was an update being provided....

More or Fewer ?? Just Nosy...

I'm cleaning out storage and came across my old Garmin 60CSx and 2610. The 60CSx has a broken battery terminal but if the battery is seated "just right", the unit works. The 2610 on the other hand is in mint condition but it's so old, I don't believe I can even upgrade to the latest maps with that thing. I was going to try and sell them but thinking the electronic dump is more appropriate.

I partition my HDD and try yo have as few programs or large files on my Operating Drive C:{ to make the computer a little faster rather than having to search through useless stuff. Since Garmins Maps take up well over 4.4 GB for the full NA map I like to have it on my second partition or secondary HDD. This could also be useful if your C: drive is getting full.

I have never had a problem with installing POI’s on my 3597 until today. Some background: I started having trouble with my computer shutting down and then restarting. I would get the BSOD after the computer had been running for 25-30 minutes. I took it in to the computer repair shop and they diagnosed a hard drive problem and installed a SSD.

V. 7.8.1.0 of Garmin Express is available now. As always remember to uncheck "Always leave GE in running in the background"
