nuvi 13xx and 14xx series (GCD File) software version 6.10
as of July 5, 2012 is now available.

My NUVI 3490 just started taking forever to calculate routes. It has become terribly slow for no reason..

Has anyone experienced this or have a solution?

Hi...I'm in need of a replacement Vehicle Power Cable for my 255w.

Somehow I have bent the piece that goes into the Garmin 255W and we lose connectivity.

Any recommendations on where to purchase one CHEAP to replace my amage cable.

I just don't get it, Maryland Route 200 is not even contained on the map. It partially completed back in Feb. 2011, and totally completed in Nov. 2011. What reason would Garmin give, if we asked why it doesn't even appear on their latest map? That's why I question the so-called LMT.....

Is there a new map update out yet?

My Garmin Nuvi is subject to a battery recall. In order to send it in I have to let the battery run down which loses all my favorite locations. How do I save them to my laptop before I send it in?

How do you download certain sounds, ie "Jetsons" will not play nor can I download it as well as others?? Thanks for help.

WEB UPDATER ver.2.5.6.0 as anyone download the new Webupdater just released v.2.5.6.0 ,the software update also want to install Net framework does anyone know why? I also need to install net framework ? And anyone know what is a MTP device? that also is included with new webupdater version?

I want to transfer GPX files into my Garmin nuvi 260, and I can't get the POI loader to install on my Windows 7 OS.

I have read the discussions on this forum and have tried to run the install as admin and the file keeps telling me that "this is an unspported OS version. This application required Windows XP SP2 or greater." I even updated my Microsoft.net Framework 4, and still no luck.

On the 1490T, pressing the traffic circle on the map brought up the "Traffic Map" screen. When pressed, it would revert to the map and show known traffic. If you subsequently pressed the traffic circle, it brought you back to the same menu, but it would say "Show Normal Map". In essence, it would toggle between traffic or no traffic on the map.

No doubt this has already been covered, but I'm bot finding it in my searches...

I will be retiring my 1490T at some point. I may toss it in its original box and leave it in the closet as a second backup, but I'm also thinking about selling it for a few dollars.

i have the 2013.10 maps.

i downloaded the speed + redlight camera files form this site.

There's not enough space to save the files on my 1490. i had to save it to the SD card.

but everytime i start my car, the Nuvi would ask if i want to xfer the poi files to the Garmin. It's an annoying extra step to press the NO button before i can pick a route.

Garmin has screwed up again(no surprise). In Firefox and IE an update to Garmin Communicator Plugin 4.0.3 is required but the new version doesn't work!

I have a 1490t and a 2460lmt.The traffic receivers look like there compatible with each other and Garmin site says they are. GTM 25 (1490t) and GTM35 (2460lmt).Has anyone used either with either unit. Actually the GMT 35 looks more like 36 but I'm sure it's my eyes or Garmin typo.

Does anybody see more posts for 7/2 as well as any for 7/3?

I have nüvi 1300 SW Ver 5.90 and i accidentally formatted everything, after i erased all nüvi flash memory on next startup device automatically restored 3 folders:

- Garmin
- GPX
