I'm glad I wasn't part of

I'm glad I wasn't part of the early beta-tester program. Hopefully they didn't find too many problems before they decided to stop the presses.

You put a firmware update for a 34xx or 35xx on a 2555 and have no problems? shock

Is Garmin holding out? Are they the same FW, but with a checksum? Did he get new features?

Figured I would post on this thread since the fix list and revision number are the exact same even if the GPS is a different model.

Next time I'll wait for a 24x5/25x5 specific thread then.

Installed 7.1 on my 2) 3490's on Aug 1, 2012. No problems found.

Installed 7.1 on my 2) 3490's on Aug 1, 2012. No problems found. The traffic (Atlanta area) has always been weak with these units. I use a cradle mount and try to get as much power cable (which contains the antenna) on the dash under the windshield to get them to work.
