The Choice Hotel file is .csv. I can't get it to convert or load into Mapsource. Does anyone have a converted file?

After coming across a statement that when doing the SD card cloning method, your download is faster since it is not throttled by the GPS limitation.

Now that makes me wonder. Should I do my next map update to the cloning SD card first complete with device and computer.
Then after that download for the 2797 and my daughters 3790.

Would it make the two downloads faster???

The new Garmin map 2017.20 is out. Installed with GE, no problem.

Is there anyplace I can download the English Samantha tts3 directions file, I am curious to see if my new kenwood In dash would work with these voices. I have already updated maps and added junction view with lane assist to the unit by accessing the internal memory card.

I just got the new Drive Assist 50. Trouble is, I can't find a good, sturdy mount that will stick to my windshield and not obscure the camera and not be so low that half of the camera's view is obscured by my dashboard. Any ideas?

Loaded the PC version and discovered I could put new map updates om my LM55 but could not load maps on my computer for use with Basecamp. Couldn't find where others posts complained of the same issue so contacted Garmin. This was their reply:

Garmin have release new software update 3.20 for Nuvicam devices.
One good in this updat is th IOS service fix in Bluetooth. Now it connects to iphone 6 without enabling phone calls.

Added a new camera height setting to improve the accuracy of lane departure warnings when used in tall vehicles.

I just completed a few hundred mile trip with my new Nuvi 52LM. It performed well without any hiccups. No misdirection’s or off route trips. But there were a couple of issues that came up that upon reflection led me to ask these questions.

I love my Garmin 2797LMT. It is not only has large crystal clear display and sound but the biggest benefit one gets from this device is hand free usage of it.

Safety First. What do other users think about this feature? I have a foreign accent, but have no issue in using the Voice Command.

Has anyone had any luck getting the sounds to work for the Garmin 760LM? If so I could really use some help. I have tried all the ways I know of. According to the info on this site it should work.

I want to revert my Nuvi 2598LMT to the previous map set that I have on an earlier back up. The Nuvi is telling me that there is not enough space. How can I remove the map set that is on the Nuvi now to make room for the previous one to install?

It is with great sadness that I report that my nuvi 2597 LMT unit has passed away and gone to GPS heaven. The battery would no longer hold a charge and alas, would not be useful for more than 5-10 minutes if I needed it on foot.

Yesterday I received a RLC infraction notice. The incident is time stamped at 5:27PM on 20 Apr 2016.

Incidentially, I save all my tracks on a weekly basis. On reviewing that date, it shows I was at that intersection at 5:07 PM. Think I have a case?

I have a question about something which always seems to happen when I plug in a GPS into a USB port on my computer.

Very often I get a message "Do you want to scan and fix this attached drive"?

I have always just ignored and cancelled this message but I am wondering if I am doing this right?

theGPSStore.com is having a "Super Sale" through May 15. One of the featured items is the 3597LMTHD refurb for $199.95. I am surprised that there is still a supply of refurbs for this model. Although it is discontinued, this device has been very popular with many of the members at POI Factory (self included).

My 3790 and my 2598 show having an time zone map update through Garmin Express. For the life of me I can't figure out why it keeps giving me "There was an error installing the update. WebUpdater doesn't show any updates at all.

I drove from Northeast Pennsylvania to upstate New Hampshire on Thursday, 5/5 and returned on Friday 5/6. On both trips, I repeatedly received a “Coastal Flood Advisory” alert on my 3597 through the Smartphone link app weather function. When I pressed the weather alert icon, nothing showed on the weather map. I traveled through PA, NY, VT and NH both ways and was nowhere near the coast.

Does anyone know what the key differences are between a Garmin 2789 LMT and 70 LMT? I have a 2798LMT which is basically a 2789 plus a backup camera. The 70 LMT unit is the newest 7" voice activated unit but it doesn't look like they've changed a whole lot to me. Thoughts anyone?
