Resuming a Garmin Update

I tried this procedure on a Garmin Nuvi 1370T. I updated the North American map. I was using a friend's high speed data connection and only wanted to download the install files. I clicked on the button to update the installed maps. I hibernated the computer after the point where it said the download of the installation files finished; and the building map set had finished. I brought my notebook home. I reconnected to the Garmin map install. Now at this point I am on the AT&T wireless throttled data speeds of a whopping 10kbs. The map install rebuilt the map data set. It then installed the maps onto my Garmin Nuvi 1370T. A high speed data connection was not needed after I resumed from the notebook hibernation. Everything installed fine.
