Another new Garmin.....

Just added a new Garmin GPS to the stable this weekend, but this one had a rather unique accessory : a motorcycle.

I bought a new 2016 Harley Road Glide (FLTRXS) with a GPS from the factory, and it's a GARMIN ! It even has voice control (if you have a helmet with headphones/ microphone). I've only been able to put a few miles on it so far, but having a GPS on a bike is a new experience and a revelation.

Next step is trying to figure out how to load my custom POIs into the unit, and seeing if SmartLink will work (bike also has Bluetooth) ...

Fun fun fun..... mrgreen

Sounds Great

I've been using my old Nuvi 350 on my 1992 Golwing for decades.
Still works great!
Have fun.

The only way to go!

On a Harley and new from the factory....This is the life. Have fun with your new bike and Garmin.

Be careful as I have a large scar on my head from years ago on a motorcycle (I was on) and a car....

Agree. Ride Safe

Agree. Ride Safe

When ya get lost ....

... which happens a lot on a motorcycle, wink you can now find your way back, if ya want to.

I have a Garmin Zumos on both of my bikes, very basic but good enough.
