i have just updated my garmin nuvi 3597 to the 2017 .20 map and also the software is now version 5.20
now i wish i hadnt done it as the voice navigation is no longer supported in my area, which is Ontario Canada , i downloaded the Canada and Border States map version and there was no indication that it would not support voice navigation , has anyone else had the same problem, there is now way to revert to the previous version
... I've seen this on another forum, where I've answered it. Basically you won't get VR with a part map set, see this FAQ

The answer is to insert a sd card and install the full mapset.

Garmin Europe 2017.20 (NT Version)
It was reported over on the GPS Review forum that the NT version of Garmin Europe 2017.20 was released yesterday (Nov. 3). The NTU (Unicode) version was released way back on Sept. 8. Most of the older nuvi's require the NT version, which does not come out with every map update. I have not seen any additional confirmation about the 2017.20 NT version ... maybe sussamb will confirm for us.

CN EU 2017.20 NT
Garmin Mapupdater is not offering the CN EU 2017.20 update for my 775T.
I have Lifetime Mapupdate and the latest map installed on the SD card is CN EU 2017.10 NT
Garmin 660, 775, 3790, 3597 and ecoRoute HD.
