Back home...
Finally back home after a 7 week trip in our 19' travel trailer. From California to British Columbia, Alberta, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota,Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska,Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. Good to be back home.

Not much fun...
Just back from a 7 week trip pulling a 19' travel trailer. As we approached the top of a small hill a semi came over the top from the other direction and moved into my lane taking up a good third of my lane. I hit the brakes and swerved but was certain there was no way to avoid a head on collision. My some miracle we didn't hit straight on but I figured he would still take out the side of my truck or at least my trailer. (This part all took maybe 2 seconds at the most.) The trailer "hopped" to the side, came down and then went up onto the wheels on one side, came back down and fishtailed. "Exciting" doesn't quite describe it. I managed to get the thing under control and, fortunately, there was a bit of a shoulder. I pulled onto the shoulder and sat there for a good 5 minutes trying to get settled down. A line of cars that had been behind the semi had all braked hard and pulled to the side of the road expecting to see a big accident. When we got to our destination we found everything inside the trailer was spread all over the place. Something cracked or broke in the water system (haven't tried to find it yet) as the water spit both air and water after that and the pressure is poor. I don't ever want to do this again.
