Since I am recovering at home, decided to check the Garmin Site and the new Map Update is available via my lifetime update for both my 3790T and my 1350T. I am in the middle of updating my 3790T at this time.
Garmin has allowed my 295W two map updates in the last week
Just registered my newest 295W on the 10th of February and did a map update to 2011.30 that day.
When I saw this thread this morning I went to My Garmin website again and it showed another free map update was available for this same unit. It now has been updated this morning to 2011.40 so I guess that they are really living up to the new policy of getting all map updates for free that occur within that first 60 days.
-- Garmin Drive Smart 55 - Samsung Note 10 Smartphone with Google Maps & HERE Apps
I just installed update 40 and it's still missing a road that is 2 years old. I guess I'll have to wait for update 50 so they can add the missing road.
Both my units have been updated - took just about
1 1/2 hours to update 2 units + the PC.

If you are waiting for .50, you will be waiting a long time...
The next map will be 2012.10, not 2011.50
Go to www.navteq.com to see if the road that is missing is correct on their site. If not, you can report it and it will eventually be fixed. I've submitted a few locations, took a few months or so but they were updated at some point.
Oh, when is the next map update (2012.10) going to be available?
I have lifetime updates on my nüvi 760 and also on my GPSMAP 78S. Guess I'll have to wait until I get home from work. Maybe I'll stagger them over two days since it's such a huge download.

Does any one know how exactly Garmin names the map's version number.
The last two updates were 2010.30 and 2010.31, and this one is 2011.40. So, I as well as other assume the name one will be either 2011.4x, or 2011.50. Unless there is no more update in 2011, then it would be 2012.50. So, I really don't think there will be 2012.10 ever.
Sigh......... Just checked online. Garmin has screwed me up royally.
I had lifetime updates on my nüvi that was lost/stolen. I wasn't able to transfer them to the replacement 760 so I had to purchase new lifetime maps. I also purchased lifetime maps for my 78S.
Garmin is showing lifetime updates available for BOTH 760 models - even though one was supposed to have been marked by them as lost/stolen so that nobody could use the updates, etc. They are NOT showing the lifetime update for the 78S - which I definitely paid for.
I guess I have to call them and wait through the (probably very long due to the updates) queue to talk to someone and try to get this straightened out.

That can be entered on the first screen, I believe, after choosing a version (e.g. 2011.3) to download.
