I just WON a nuvi 660 as a x-mas gift last week on ebay for $600.....love e-bAY.

I read this from the Beginning, Wow have prices Dropped.I bought my 1st Street pilot for 229 and it was a great deal...they were 128 today at Walmart, I bought a Nuvi from Costco,, also..I am amazed at how they have come down from a couple of years ago...I have a feeling it is the Competition from Tom Tom.
Either way It is great news for us...

I got a NUVI 660 for 350 today. Not bad I think. It's my first unit....

I love the holiday season, we can buy all these new toys at huge price cuts. I usually buy more stuff for myself than for other people.

Supposely cyber monday is suppose to have nuvi dirt cheap as in 300 to 400 dollars cheaper. When i see ill believe it

Where was the 660 for 350? That's better then Best Buy's 399.

$50 dollars more than the Best Buy BF special, but you don't have to sleep outside the night before.

I purchased my Nuvi 750 from MegaGPS.com for $489.99 with free shipping and no tax (except UT residents). That is the best price that I found when I ordered it (although some websites were advertising lower prices they didn't have any in stock).

I bought my Nuvi 660 at Best Buy on the same day for 399.99. How did you get it for $40.00 less. Did you bargain or barter or negotiate or what?

Just be happy you didn't pay $700 for it like I did a 11 months ago...

Be philosophical. Dollar Rental charges $11 per day to rent a Garmin Nuvi with a car. So figure that as your "value" per day of use that you had yours for the last 11 months. You actually saved over $3600 by buying early!

Now MegaGPS.com has the Nuvi 750 for $459.99! It was $489.99 only 2 weeks ago when it was released! I wonder how much more the price will drop??

I'm wondering what's coming out next when Garmin releases their big guns...

I'm surprised prices are dropping so fast on the current units as these things are in high demand for the holiday season. Methinks Garmin may be clearing out old stock and maybe, just maybe, something über cool will be released right before Christmas.

I purchased a 660 over the weekend at Best Buy for $399. It had the Fodor travel chip bundled with the unit.

You may actually take the loooong detour and be ok... but someone like my DW ... well... we left Denver heading to Chicago... and I went to sleep and slept for quiet a while. When I woke up... we were almost into Cheyenne, WY.... I ask DW..."How did this happen"? She replied, "Well there was this detour back there...."

When DW drives... I am thinking I can buy a Nuvi and save money.

I think you could use another xnman. Amazon had the 650 for 299 on BF. I almost grabbed a 2nd one but I'd really like a 750. Maybe I can pass my 5 month old 650 on to the wife and get a 750.

I just purchased a Nuvi 660 for $550. Circuit City has them listed at that price but you you go to best buy and tell them that circuit city has them listed for $550, they will sell it you to you for that price.

I don't know how to explain this but the price on nuvi 660 dropped, from 799 to 399, and c550 and c580 pretty much in the same price range, can somebody explain?

Purchased Nuvi 650 from Costco online for $299 plus S&H and received it on Nov 28, 07. Tried it out last nite and seems to work pretty well. Also purchased new Mag 4250 that has Bluetooth and traffic for 90 day trial run. Will be doing comparison over the next few weeks and may end up returning one of the units. Will keep all posted.

I paid $489 for my Nuvi 750 at MegaGPS.com a month ago, best price I could find at the time. Two days before the unit arrived it dropped to $450. I asked if they would make up the difference in price given that I had not even received the unit and it dropped $40. Their polite answer was ”no price guarantee,” which I honestly expected. Couldn't hurt to ask, right? Today MegaGPS listed it for $445.99 no tax and no shipping. I got to stop looking at the prices, its getting depressing

I bought a Nuvi 350 from Circuit City in Maryland two days ago for $294.

Purchased a StreetPilot 580c from Costco on-line back in September for $349. Went last week to local Costco and saw nuvi 680 for $479. Returned 580c and purchased nuvi 580! I liked the 580c, but I love the nuvi 680!!!
Three months ago, when I bought the 580c, the cheapest on-line price for the nuvi 680 was $680. In the last three months the price has dropped $200 or 30% of its value. Even the new nuvi’s came out cheaper than the 6xx series. You can get the new nuvi760 for $600. Remember that when the 680 came out last January (only 11 months ago) it was $1,000.

I don't know if this is too personal I was just wondering what people are paying for there GPS's. I was thinking about a 2nd unit and thought I would see what people have been coming up with re: good deals!! I recently got a c330 at walmart the day after thanksgiving for 130.00 I thought was a steal!

I saw the Wal-Mart deal too for $128, but decided to get a nuvi 200, for $197, because it is the latest and smallest. Last I looked it is now around $185 on-line. The way prices are going, it will be disposable when I have to replace the battery. Can anyone tell me whether yearly map updates are free?

Map updated are not free.

The map updates are typically released yearly, typically in the spring. The update generally costs around $60 - $75. Depending upon the areas in which they travel, most users find that updating the maps every other year rather than every year is sufficient for them.

In January I got my Nuvi350 from Tiger Direct for $313.46 which included tax and shipping. That was for a new one. The refurbished one was cheaper.

Check walmart.com The 350 is selling for 398 in the store, but if you purchase it online you can get it for $279.

I got the 660 a few weeks ago for $349 free shipping from Amazon. They tried to sneek in the shipping but I caught them. Did the same exact thing to my best friend and it would have gone unnoticed had I not warned him. They even tried to suggest it was his fault but he had the confirmation email saying the shipping cost was $0.00. Carefull with amazon, they are sleezy.

I just got a nuvi 760 for $507 off ebay. Brand new of course.

Paid $290.00 at Walmart on line! Got the bran new unit and it is perfect.
