Well, I don't know about HERE but I have over 230 green star on http://www.care2.com and growing each day. HOWEVER that's an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT website! (LOL)

But the adjective 'astronomical' has been used to refer to me in various contexts.

My guess is additional icons, containing a star for every POI file that's posted or, let's say, for every 5 POI files posted.

No, not the glasses, but the pre-school duty where she discovered how much kids that age love stickers and stars. Apparently kids our age love them too.

I can Tap dance and spin plates on two sticks at the same time, all while trowing my voice to the hamster that I had a audience member hold. I am always glad I do my act behind chicken wire, to protect me from beer bottles.

A general maintainer: might be a person who frequently provides help and support for both the forum and its guests. Actually, there are a quite number of members I can award them A Super Star icon myself! What about that Miss POI?! am I right?! am I right?! :

well, there goes that idea of being active more then 1 year. if that was true, then you couldn't have the star without the windmill.

Here is my guess...a star is awarded to those that have completed the following...

1) Passed the time period of whatever time limit that they set
2) Have contributed to POIs
3) Have contributed USEFUL information to other members.

I think the clue comes from hovering your mouse over the stars icon next to Miss POIs name. And then doing a search for those words.

Well here i am wanting to know more, where is the star

yeah, I thought we would know on monday...well, its monday!

As long as the stars don't include any more of this white stuff. Just received over 80cm of snow in the last week (0ver 50cm this past weekend alone). I am starting to run out of room to move this stuff. we are within about 34cm of the most all-time snow for our area which is currently 444.1cm

Spring is SO CLOSE, yet seems SO FAR away!

Wow, I've been sick with the flu for three weeks and now I find all this excitement about stars! I am reading all these messages and since everyone else has guessed what the requirements will be to gain one I don't have to.

Now asianfire, I know it's Monday but doh't forget that Miss POI lives out west so it is a bit early for her to be logging on! I'm sure we will find out what the stars are shortly.

Well today is the day of this anticipated rollout, I am looking forward to reading the details.

I am now awake and Jon and I will be posting more information within the next couple of hours.
