Has the red light camera database been updated to reflect the cameras in Alexandria, VA, which just went live today? Those in Fairfax, VA have been on a while.

Stop Light Cameras in Los Angeles
Channel 2 news had a piece last night on these cameras being installed in several parks (of all places). More than 34,000 $175 tickets have been issued in the last 18 months.
As near as I can determine these are not included in the POI files.

New AZ law in effect today
Changes to the law, effective today, are the accused must be notified that you do not have to answer the summons unless served by a process server. The other change is that the owner of the vehicle is no longer is compelled to ID another driver in your vehicle that caused the violation.
Lastly, the new law adds another $13 fee on top of the other fines for all traffic tickets...

Got my picture took, lol
Pima County is hooking up 2 new speed cams in the next week, so I went and got the one by me. Well the Speed cam ontractor was still pulling wires on one of the cams, so when I went to the Island and centered my GPS between the two cams to get the Coords he started taking my picture.

nuvi 1695 red light camera notification
Could someone tell me how the camera alerts appear on my unit? (I have a 765T and want to purchase a 1695) My Garmin trial only sounds a chime and places a tiny message on the screen.What does this app announce verbally(if at all), what message appears on the screen, and does it give a precise location? (ie 5th and vine streets)

Police update description of man who attacked camera vehicle
From the Washington Times:
"Maryland State Police said Thursday that a man who attacked a speed camera vehicle may have parked in a lot that serves several nearby businesses and walked through the woods to where the vehicle was stationed on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Mobile Speed Cameras -- how best to record them in a POI file?
I recently discovered that while the state of Maryland does have quite an investment in immovable red light and speed cameras, certain cities and townships have been incorporating mobile/portable speeding cameras as well. Some days they remove them, but some days they put them up. From my observations, the locations are pretty consistent.

Redlight Cams in NW Houston
Hi All,
Loaded a recent version (~3 weeks ago) of the redlight file and noticed quite a few of the previously listed cameras in my area disappeared.
These used to be in the file I d/l'd abot a year ago.
There are cameras in NW Houston, Jersey Village area that are still there and no longer in the file, e.g. corner of Jones Rd and Hwy 290.
Did I do soemthing wrong with the file?

Dayton, OH to get Cameras

This article isn't clear about it, but they are installing speed cameras mid-block ahead of the red light cameras. So, it will be possible to get a speed ticket and a red light infraction ticket at the same time.
