I was looking at the Garmin website reading about the Garmin DriveLuxe 51 LMT-S. It states that is is compatible with Garmin smartwatches. Does anybody happen to know what Garmin smartwatches are compatible with it?

I recently received a 2689... I have been using a 2595--- my question has to do with traffic reception.... it seems that the 2689 is much slower to pick up traffic info???? and the power cord is different from the 2595... any experience?

Went to update to 5.1 and got 5.4 so I guess that's the latest!

Garmin recently announced they will discontinue production of FM and HD traffic receivers for their new automotive GPS models. Live traffic, via the Smartphone Link app, will be the only traffic service available on newer units.

I know that the acquisition of DeLorme by Garmin was reported here last year. More recently I have been looking at both the legacy DeLorme offering and the new Garmin offerings.

Hi all im new to the sat nav world i was advised to go for a garmin unit which i now have the nuni 3790 i am planning a trip to usa and want to travel to various locations while in there.
I'm in Las Vegas for 8 days then driving to LA for 2 days then to San Francisco for 4 days along the pacific coast.

im looking for pois that i can add to my sat nav which will assist me in this trip.

My Garmin 680 has stopped speaking through the internal speaker. It works through ear buds and through the vehicle radio. Any help would be great.

How do you hide (get rid of) the unasked for POI,s?

In some areas gas stations, restaurants and banks were filling up my screen by changing banks to rest areas helped.

I really don't want them on the screen.

Bad news. Had my Nuvi stolen. Good news, police caught the guy going through another car in the parking lot. Got it back, except for the cable.
Saved a bundle and ordered one from China on 11/28/16. I wonder where it's at? Lesson learned.

With the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 announcement of the new Garmin automobile navigators, I suspect that many here will look at the Garmin DriveLuxe 51 LMT as a premium automobile navigator in the current Garmin line up. With that in mind, I suspect that at some point comparisons will be made to the now slightly dated Garmin Nuvi 3597LMTHD.

During the installation of map update 2017.30 on my Nuvi 2460LMT, I was required to install an SD card.

GE recognized the card and the update completed without problems.

The lasts update to 2017.20 required 63 minutes to complete the update, however this update to 2017.30 required 3 hours and 50 minutes.

Hello, I'm having a question regarding the proximity alert function of the Garmin Nuvi (and Oregon) models. I programmed custom points of interests for road culverts to warn public works mower operators of culverts that are not visible and to prevent damage to both equipment and infrastructure.

CN EU 2017.30 was released by Garmin yesterday, but there was an issue initially downloading for those with the full EU map installed, which now breaches the FAT32 4Gb limit. To cope Garmin now split the map into two, CN EU North and CN EU South, but Express was only installing the North part. That issue is now resolved.

I just noticed that the weather part of the 3597 no longer works...it will still show the temperature in the data screen but the separate weather feature is now gone...did I miss something or is the last update corrupted?

CN EU 2017.30 NTU just released ...

My old trusty 350 is running outa space I want to start putting maps to SD card to do that do I need GE or BC?? I've been using MU for years and it don't let you install to SD card, not that I can see.
