garmin express 5.4 (JK)

Went to update to 5.1 and got 5.4 so I guess that's the latest!

Is that for the Mac? The PC version is still at 5.1—at least it is this second. rolleyes

And the latest changelog for both OSes remains at 5.0. sad

I have version 5.1.0.0, just

I have version 5.1.0.0, just now clicked check for update, GE said I am up to date with version 5.1.0.0.

(Windows 10 home x64)

Just checked and all I'm seeing for Mac version is 5.1 also

Just checked again and both 3597 and GE say "up to date" software version 5.4.

Using Windows 10 and map 2017.30.

I was going to up date to 5.1 thinking a new map would be out soon and I might as well go ahead and update GE. Surprised to see 5.4 unless I'm doing something wrong?

I looked in "settings" in GE and click on "about" and it says 5.1.

So what's with the 5.4 software version on the GE and in the 3597?

Here's the info on your 3597's software. Note that 5.4 came out last October:

That's ...

... Because 5.1.0 IS the latest. If you read the thread you'll see there was confusion between the Express and device version, there is no Express 5.4.0

Well heck folks I sure did not mean to stir the pot too bad I can not just make this thread go away but maybe someone will gain new knowledge due to my misunderstanding I did.

Well sounds like a few people are jealous stuck on 5.1 waiting and I'm at least 3 weeks ahead.
