it released today for update
No release notes yet. I wonder if this fixes some of the problems that have been reported with the Europe 2017.30 map updates.
It installed OK on my old Vista 64 laptop. I keep thinking that on one of these releases, Vista will be abandoned like XP has been.
I wonder if this is simply in preparation to the map update ... like last time.
The GE update seemed quite large and gave me the impression that it took longer to install as well.
Could be something major or just a lag on my laptop .... anxious to see the release notes ....
Just updated thanks for heads up
....about the same time as the last few updates for me. Didn't appear to be overly large.
"The installation was successful."
Guess I'll give it a try tomorrow if I have a chance. Need to update some POI files anyway so might as well do it all at once.
Thanks for update... Went Well W7-64
Thanks, going to run the update.
Thanks for the heads up,
Thanks for helping us keep updated!
Thanks. Will be updating shortly.
It seems like just yesterday I installed 5.0.0. Got the update, no problems
Still no release notes available for this version. It must be Garmin is too embarrassed to tell us what stupid errors they had to correct
Updated without incident
Thanks, my upgrade went fine.
Downloaded it for Mac, went fine.
It must be Garmin is too embarrassed to tell us what stupid errors they had to correct
Maybe they should tell us what bugs/issues they've added rather than what bugs/issues have been corrected.
I'll wait for the new map update to fire up Winblows 10.
Linux just works.
No problems at all with upgrade from Windows 10
This version includes the following changes:
• Added support for detecting inReach devices.
• Fixed an issue that would cause map install progress to stall when a file failed to download.
• Fixed an issue that incorrectly displayed the height and weight for users during account creation.
• Fixed an issue that caused some files to not be delivered during a DLC update.
