hoping someone can help me you all have been a lot of help to me. any luck and I will be able to give a helping hand. not what you call real sharp on this high Tec stuff. thank you for all the help

I don’t know if this started to happen after I connected my Garmin to check for updates about 2 months back. Before I had about 8 favorites and now I have about 50 new favorites I did not create.
All have numbers like (-1.23, 2.34 and even 2013-09-16T14:53:31Z)

Garmin Smartphone Link for Android got updated to version 1.6.1 today. But unfortunately, it is still not sending correct location addresses from Google Maps to Smartphone Link.

I tried on address: 14 Taber Road, Toronto, Canada from Google Maps, but when it got transferred to Smartphone Link, it was pointing to:
9-11 Taber Road,
Sherman, CT 06784
USA

I'm in the process of downloading now.
I thought I'd start a new thread rather than continue the original that's at 7 pages. I'm sure they're will be lots more discussions with user experiences.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 2455LMT that has a deep scratched in the lower right side of the screen.

The touch screen still works but when I touch the part of the screen, you def can feel it. Also You sure can see it.

Is they a way to "Calm" the scratch down or even hide or fix it anyway?

If I can, I will just live with it since the Device still works great!

I started to do the Simulation tutorial and it was taking awhile to do the routing. Finally show "Saved Places Full". When I went there all my poi's were there. Is that right? I DLed the Nevada Mines poi. Did I miss putting them on my SD somehow? Was it making a route from Nevada to Washing?
The poi is in Custom POI's. So can I just delete the Saved Places?

This isn't a camera per se, but Philadelphia is using sensors to trigger a red light when cars are exceeding the speed limit. Now if we can just get a sensor to trigger a green light when moving at a constant (safe) speed...

There is update for POI Loader to version 2.7.3.0 for Windows. According to Garmin it:

"Fixed issue where address information was not being written out in certain situations"

It should show automatically when you start POI Loader, but just in case it didn't i put this info here.

My Garmin has a "stutter" or pause that occurs in the middle of giving directions. Never had this problem before.......Is it something that goes with the 2014.2 ver. of the maps? Really became annoying while trying to navigate unknown areas in San Antonio yesterday

After a tedious time in updating Nuvi 1350LMT I now notice that the female voice is raspy. Any suggestions

I just got off the phone with Garmin and their tech support is a joke. I was trying to find out which model series or even a list of individual models Gives you the name of the street or road that you are approaching when you aren't navigating. I told him my older Street Pilots did it and the next GPS I buy I would like to have that feature back.

can some one tell me how u download the routes or places u have been with your gps on a garmin nuvi 205 i have done it once and forgot how and cant find any topics on it plz help

I'm sure this has been asked millions of times but I'm new to POI-Factory and GPS units. I apologize.

When I connected the USB cable to my brand new 3597 I did see:

you will probably see, as I can with mine, a graphic of a GPS connected by cable to a PC

But now the unit either starts up with a black screen ot the main menu (Where to? View Map).

I copied the Garmin topo files from the computer to an 8gig micro SD in the Nuvi. Any idea how to access and use those topo files for my offroading?

On an older Garmin can you remove the older map files in the GPS if the newer map is installed on a SD card.
