help (gmapprom.img on nuvi 660)

Hello,i added a new gmapprom.img on mygarmin nuvi 660. The map was working fine but wen i tried to click at the address it said no data available and so as the hotels and other destination option. can anyone tell me what i did wrong.
Where You Went Wrong
You didn't get the map from Garmin, and that's where you went wrong.
Without going into exhaustive detail, some map sets are derived from a working gmapprom.img. The act of creating a map set in this manner destroys the address database. Thus, an IMG file created from such a map set also has no address database. As a result you can't search for anything on the map.

I had a garmin 670 with the European maps but is the same as the garmin 660. You can have only one map with GMAPprom.img or GMAPsupp.img if you have more than one for each does not work. You can see and manage your maps when you use this program MapSelect.exe. I did use this one and did not have a problem.
Managing the maps isn't his
Managing the maps isn't his issue. He can't search for anything on the map. Either his gmapprom.img is really the basemap (gmapbmap.img) or else his map has no address database as described.

I see. well the best option is to go to their main site and do the map update for it
