Garmin vehicle icons size.

I have just gotten a 3597, love it BUT , Garmin in their great wisdom resized the POI icons but not the vehicle as far as I can see (I did resize my users POI's icons) I find it hard to see among the clutter of the large gas,bank,restaurant, etc ones. How do I get a bigger car?

Thanks, I found that post, that's what got me to scale up with the POI icons. I also found instructions for creating new vehicles but not how to scale up the garmin ones..

Ah, sorry, I should have read your post more carefully.
For vehicles, I've seen procedures for building your own and I expect if you started with an existing smaller vehicle, you could work on scaling them up--the procedure looked to be way more effort than I'd ever want to do though. See "Make a vehicle" in:

I never tried to modify Garmin’s Vehicle .srf files.
I did a search and found the below links regarding a conversion from .srf to .png. Once converted, you will need to use a photo editor for modifications. Once modified you have to convert back to .srf.
I don’t know what the finished product would look like since I never tried it, nor would I want to spend the time doing it.

You will need to use the below conversion link to convert the .srf to .png., then use it again to convert the modified .png back to .srf.

Ah, I didn't find that link. Took a look at it but reading between the lines it looks to me that you cannot use it to change the size, pity.
