Also on 765T now

Using Garmin Express, no problems, complete with new large JCV and GMAP3D files.

GarminExpress not my solution

Honestly, I wasn't sure whether I had already installed 2014-10. GarminExpress told me that a map update was available, but failed to handle 2014-10 on Garmin Nuvi 3590. Tried to update 3 or 4 times with GarminExpress. Sometimes it failed to download, sometimes download completed and it failed on the install process. Tried GarminMapUpdater which told me I already had the latest map. No crash.

MapUpdater

The update is available via Garmin Express and Garmin's MapUpdater software as well.

didn't work with GarminExpress (I tried several times), now trying the old method with MapUpdater (always worked that way)...

Have a 370...

and it took the new lower 49 states, but no way would it take the new Europe,or any part of it, and kept getting an "error"...it did keep the previous one on though. I will call Garmin Monday and see why the difficulty...any suggestions, other than the space, which never bothered it before.???

GarminExpress worked fine for me on a 1390T, no problems at all.

Could this be the problem?

The nuvi 3xx series can not open files bigger than 2GB:

The faq does suggest that you can install the map to a computer, then use MapInstall to install a portion of Europe on a nuvi 3xx model. If this isn't the issue, maybe you could tell us what the error message is when you try to install Europe.
