Custom POI Alert Sounds?

I have followed the following guide to make a custom POI alert sound. http://www.poi-factory.com/node/4360
I am sure I have followed the directions properly as the POI generated with the MP3 in the folder is larger then the POI genered without the MP3. However, when I upload them to my Garmin 260w the GPS does not play the audio alert. It just beeps.
I know custom POI alert sounds work on my device because I have 3rd party POI's for Speed cameras and red light cameras loaded onto the Garmin which do talk instead of beep. Is there something I am doing incorrectly?
Is it named correctly?
Make sure the mp3 is named the same as the POI except for the extension. Also, check to make sure that the extension is not showing twice. Sometimes Windows will do a double extention.

The 260W can not use MP3
The 260W can not use MP3 files. You need to convert the alert sound to wav format first, then your unit will recognize it. You will also need to download sox.exe and put it into the same directory that poi loader is in on your computer. When you run poi loader the next time, it will install your alert sounds.
