Hello guys,
Just found this site and have downloaded a POI file for Florida Railroad Crossings. Now how do I transfer it to my TND-720 ?Any help appreciated.

I recently bought a TND 530 and was in need to be able to import lots of address in at once. While this site has helped a lot I wasn't able to find out a way to import the phone numbers to the locations I was adding. I did some research into the database and after lots of trial and error I have found a way to do so and how to group the locations. In my case I group the locations by state.

I downloaded the csv version for Walmart and Costco. However, I found that the CSV is bit oddly constructed as the address field is a combination of street address, city, state, zip, phone.

Then I found another version of csv which is for Rand McNally as in this link: http://www.poi-factory.com/node/29947

When I plan a route, I like to use mapping software like Streets and Trips rather than take the word of the RVND 7735. The gps is a little cumbersome routing. Don't get me wrong, I love the unit but sometimes it just doesn't take me the way I want to go.
Here is my problem. I would like for the GPS to download my .gpx file from Streets but it only likes .csv files.

I have a new Rand McNally 7735. I have loaded some of my personal POI's but they are not in alphabetical order. How do I re-sort on the GPS?

Where do you put custom icons and sounds for the POIs so the unit will see them?

I've been using Garmin since my first GPS and I still have their outdoor units and running units but I switched over to the Road Explorer from Rand McNally due to the connectivity with TripMaker and I got it at a GREAT price.

I Have a RM 720, I downloaded the latest updates and my 720 crashed..I called Rand McNally and explained what happened. Rand McNally stated send the 720 and $99.00 to them and they would fix the 720 and send it back. Is this Rand McNally's normal process, Rand McNally charges you for their screw ups????

Anyone know of how to load POI Factory files to the TND Tablet?

Hi Folks,
We have a 40 foot motorhome, and on our property, I need to back the right rear wheel close to a steep drop off in order to park in our RV carport. The rear back-up camera does not help so I am hoping the Rand McNally camera mounted above the tire, and connected to my RVND 7720 will be the solution. Suggestions/reviews re this camera unit will be appreciated.

How do I get things to save to the SD card. I have a 64 gig card I put in the side slot and it says it is mounted but I can not figure how to move or store to it. Thanks for any help

Just upgraded my 720 to the new tablet rand McNally offers. with a Wi-Fi hotspot in your truck this tablet can do everything your GPS and android phone can do.

I own a rand McNally and just found out that tomtom and another provider offers simpson voices for there navi.
wondering if I find a way to get the file if I can install it into randmcnally voice file and if it will work also wondering if theres and wheres to get new voices to download and how to do this

I have a TND 520 that I just updated. It appears that there is an option to create a trip and then download it to my 520. I went through all the steps including loading to my GPS.
However I can't find the "downloaded" trip.
Anyone else have a suggestion?

Meijer now has over 200 stores in MI,OH,IN,IL,KY and will soon be opening stores in WI. There is a new store in Detroit at 8 mile and Woodward and will soon be one in Redford, MI at 6 Mile and Grant River. When I can get the necessary info I will try to update the entire list of stores.6w36

My Rand Mcnally routes some un usual routes. On a route from Ontario to Florence KY it would have me go though downtown Teledo rather than staying on I75. I can use trip maker to change my route but that leaves waypoints that are awkward in themselves. They prevent seeing the entire route for instance and the leg times do not reflect the time between destinations.

How do I transfer POI to my 2225 RVND?

I have the Rand McNally TND 520 and the speech coming from it pronounces the Red Light camera alerts such that it sounds like "midnight cameras". Maybe it was to much loud Rock & Roll in my youth and it made me half deaf I don't know but I could not tolerate it any longer. It wasn't hard to figure out that the GPS verbal alert is the file name. So I tried something and it works fairly well.

I just got a new 7735 gps and just finished putting all the poi's on it. I found the POI sound wav files on POI factory and downloaded a few. Problem is I cannot find where it is storing them on my computer(PC). It does not give me a chance to assign location. Any help appreciated.
