Where I live in the rural northeastern section of PA, There are currently 17 large data center projects proposed in the surrounding counties. Residents in the many towns involved are fighting to prevent their construction.

The principal objections are:
High electric rates
Water use
Noise
Loss of property value

Is routinely deployed to influence nowadays.

I saw someone say, a Honda Pilot has 112 cu ft of cargo and a Chevy Tahoe 123, they are almost the same. First of all, can folks relate to volume, and usable volume? Probably not.

Using common sense, I would say a 2026 Pilot has about 90 cu ft.

The nav system on my 2022 GM pickup failed this week. The adaptive cruise control also quit at the same time, along with the speed limit display. A dash warning light came on and a message on the dash display said "Adaptive Cruise Control Temporarily Unavailable".

They are amazing.

Long story is we have a loan on wife's 2025. Doing a quick calc we borrowed 30%.

It was an irrational move as I sold a mutual fund for the full amount of the vehicle, this generated my problem with the IRS/capital gains.

But still took out a new car loan for 30%.

I sold end of June when the market hit 2 more all time highs (ugh how many since).

Might be other Apple packages as well depending on the device.

Life is full of obstacles and sometimes it's simply rewarding to have them in the rearview.

It will be interesting to see how this develops for iPhone users. For those that like to use Google Maps or other navigation apps, this will be good.
