Today I turned on my 3597 for the first time since 14 Aug 2020 when I last updated the map.

Anybody know what these little blue squares are on the map screen along the road on the DriveSmart 65? They aren't signs and seem to have no significance but there are quite a few of them. One here, one there, cluttered at some intersections. Always along a road.

Two different laptops. Both have a setting in the registry to install new programs to the "D" drive

One laptop no problem updating GE.

Second laptop gives me a message "INVALID "F" drive.
There is NO "F" drive. Is there a way to force GE to install in the "D"drive?

I tried both ways, update via GE and downloaded a GE file from Garmin.

Just noticed that Europe EUNT 2021.10 subscription maps have been posted and ready for download. (If this has been posted here before.....Sorry).

Edited to add: Even though MapInstall says it is going to delete the old maps on the device, it did not do it on my device. I ended up doing the deletion manually.

It has been some time since charging my 1450. Plugged in to do the map update and thought it was going OK. Map didn't register on the Garmin or the computer. Went through the steps and noticed that 1450 screen which was on then turned black. My 1390 will charge but with 2 different power cords the 1450 is dead. Did the receptor for the mini usb cord inside the unit broke off the board?

I post this because I’ve not come across this type of thing in quite a while.

So Wife got directions off her iPhone and we used that
To route us there.
When we go there, we discovered that the street was seen by Garmin. All the way to that address!!

Need help It has been years and no problems with my 660.
This trip I lost all voice directions and have tried everything with no fix. I have a voice when I first load a trip in where to. I am looking for my manual but no luck it is somewhere easy for me to find.

Dose anyone know why Garmin GPS's will show my POI icons on one day, but not the next, and then they will be back again, the next day. I leave my Garmin plugged in all the time, it comes on when I start the car. They have all the latest updates,

This is a magnet base with a female socket to mount to any 17mm ball mount. The include several metal plates which are suitable for phone (cases), but not so much for a garmin device.

What is the latest map version for Garmin Nuvi 1490T?

I have no idea what this'll go for assuming there are some last-second snipers hovering over it but there's a DriveLuxe 51 on ebay now with the listing "Garmin DriveLuxe 51 LMT-S with North America Maps" with no bids, a $60 starting bid plus $10 S&H that expires in just 12 hours.

I have a garmin 2557 and all the map updates through the years went fine. The latest update called for a memory card. I installed a 16 gb card and the update went good. My question is do new map updates erase or over write previous map data? Or does it just keep piling up and using all the memory. I have deleted most voice files and most car icons.

I needed to download Garmin Express and for what ever reason I did not pay too much attention to the link I clicked. It said

I clicked on download and things looked funny. Told me its downloading, installing maps and ended up telling me that my device is now locked.

Hi, Having trouble reading my GPX file. The way I have done it for close to a year is connect the unit to the computer find the GPX folder and copy it to my hard drive. After that I would use MapSource to open the GPX file.

Note sure if this affects automotive units

I have an old car with no connectivity, so I use a Bluetooth/RF translator to connect my phone audio player to my stereo to listen to audio podcasts while I drive.

I just bought a Garmin Drivesmart 65 and thought I couldn't use the Garmin Bluetooth features since I am already using a Bluetooth/RF device.
