Just got mine COSTCO (Canada) $849.99 - This is my 1st trip with it - WOW LOVE THE SIZE. I am disappointed that they have deleted the ability to use your own WAKE-UP phrase.
Mine has been "KIRK TO ENTERPRISE" - worked like a charm.
We made our first trip with the RV1090 and love the size. However, there were disagreement with our Nuvi 765T and the Nuvi was always right. The RV 1090 would have taken us over 10 miles out of our way, more than once. We were in Oklahoma at the time.

Supposedly the RV 1090 "takes into account the size and weight of your RV, then finds a recommended route. And you can save profiles for multiple vehicles or trailers." Quote is from Garmin. Do you have size and weight set and could that be a consideration?
The configuration(s) you input for the size and weight of your RV. I use a Dezl 770 and run into issues in certain cities with a road restriction but the restriction doesn't apply to me. One example would be weight restriction that does NOT apply to local deliveries. I have been sent 3-5 miles out of my way to avoid a road that legally i can travel because I'm local. The only work around I have is to revert back to settings for a car in certain cities/areas.

I did that in Arlington, VA going to Arlington National Cemetery in a charter bus. Thought I knew better. Took me to a 12'6" underpass. Fortunately it was an arch and was 13'6" in the center. I didn't do that again.
I will try the car rather than the RV settings to see if that makes a difference. In our particular case, we were on I-35 south of Oklahoma City and it wanted to take us way further south past major exits, then exit. So, in that instance the 1090 was just plain wrong, in my opinion.
I will reprogram to make comparisons when the opportunity presents. Good idea, Thanks.
Thank you for sharing!

I lived in Arlington for a while. In N. Arlington 26th St. becomes 31st St.
Thanks Frside007 for the suggestion.
