This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

Wow, People still do dial-up?!?! Well welcome to the 21st century
A very good friend of mine lives in an area where nothing but dial-up is available. Her hubby's company put them (him, actually) on satellite internet, and that didn't work, either.
Needless to say, she is very frustrated.
My father just upgraded from satellite to dsl. Boy is he a happy camper, the satellite wasn't that impressive to me. Too much lag time and weather affected it as well.
